When we were children the life and work of Leo and Gretl Wollner seemed - for us - to be the usual way people would live and work every day. Only later when we were grown ups ourselves we found what a special experience it was to live with our artist parents.

…today in the third decade of the 21st century art of the 20th century seems almost coming from another enchanted world….. all the designs and paintings were produced by hand, no copy/paste, no digital tools…a fact which is almost unthinkable for many today…. and yet so fascinating because it proves the unique quality of an artist’s hand!
